In our opinion, KTMB's refund policy is quite generous, offering up to a 75% refund of the total ticket cost. For instance, if you cancel 72 hours before your trip (assuming you purchased a two-way ticket), you can receive a refund of $7.5. This may explain why tickets are often sold out quickly upon release for public sale. However, we strongly discourage the misuse of this system. We urge travelers to purchase train tickets only when they genuinely intend to travel. Additionally, it's disheartening to witness some individuals reselling train tickets on platforms such as Carousell. We strongly condemn this practice. Please do not abuse the system for personal gain. Instead, let's ensure that tickets are available to those who truly need them. Getting to Woodlands Train Checkpoint (Woodlands CIQ) 

First and foremost, it's important to distinguish between two checkpoints bus stop at Woodlands: the Woodlands Checkpoint and the Woodlands Train Checkpoint. 

For those traveling from the city by public bus, ensure you choose a route that stops at the Woodlands Train Checkpoint (Woodlands CIQ) [Bus Stop Code: 46069]. If, by mistake, you take a bus route that stops at the Woodlands Checkpoint [Bus Stop Code: 46101], it will lead you to the bus alighting area, and there won't be a direct way back. The only way to reach the Woodlands Train Checkpoint is by using the overhead bridge and approaching the immigration officer.

The officer will guide passengers in batches, typically around 10-20 people per batch. This process may require a wait time of approximately 15 to 30 minutes before the officer leads you to the overhead bridge. This delay can be stressful, especially if you're rushing to catch a train. So, please remember to select the correct bus to arrive at the Woodlands Train Checkpoint bus stop (bus stop code: 46069).
